Thaicom 2

The first generation THAICOM satellite systems which consist of two identical Hughes HS-376 satellites: THAICOM-1A (Formerly THAICOM-1) and THAICOM-2. C-Band footprint coverage includes Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, and the East Coast of China with a nominal EIRP of 36 dBW. Ku-Band footprints of both THAICOM-1A and 2 provide a high-powered spot beam for Thailand with a nominal EIRP of 50 dBW which is ideally suited to direct broadcasting applications.
