Thaicom Public Company Limited operates four types of businesses - satellite transponder leasing and related services, internet-related services, telephone-related services, and advertising in telephone directories and media distribution services. Investment in all these businesses is considered long-term. The investment decision is based mainly on the fundamentals of the business to be invested, including future business trends. Moreover, the Company’s investment policy is to be the major shareholder in its investments (whenever possible). The aim is to have overall management authority and to set the business direction of its subsidiaries and joint venture companies.
