Established in 1994, CS LoxInfo was formerly known as C.S. Communications Company Limited (CSC). After merging Internet business with Loxley Information Services Company Limited, the Company changed the name to “CS LoxInfo”, offering Internet services under the brand name of “CS LoxInfo”. With this move, CSL is now the largest ISP in Thailand providing turnkey Internet solutions from individual consumers to large corporations with nationwide service coverage using ground and satellite networks. Additionally, CS LoxInfo also operates the Thaicom Teleport and DTH Center which provides recorded and live-broadcast satellite television signal transmission and other telecommunications services. In 2004, CS LoxInfo was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
In the same year, CSL invested in Teleinfo Media Public Company Limited. (“TMC”). TMC operates Thailand Yellow Pages and other directory advertising and media distributing services using various platforms in Thailand such as the Information Service Hotlines by dialling number 1188 and 1900 222 xxx. The acquisition of TMC led to a business synergy, allowing CSL to create higher-value businesses in the future. In 2006, CSL acquired AD Venture Co., Ltd. (ADV), a holding company which owned 70% in Shineedotcom Co., Ltd. (Shinee), to strengthen CSL’ s online offerings with mobile data and content services (news and entertainment programs) and to develop Internet programs. Currently, CSL hold 99.99% stake of shares in ADV.
Early in 2007, CSL has invested 60% on Watta Co., Ltd., a well known Classified Media Company. CSL plans to distribute Watta’s contents in digital format through various channels such as internet, mobile, call center, 1900, GPRS, etc.
